Brainchild is an outgrowth of over thirty years of practice in which Dr. Richard Ivy has developed an integrated system that challenges the concept that our brains are hard-wired.

As neuroplasticians (a fancy way to say that these doctors subscribe to the theory that our brains have the "plastic" ability to, change, adapt and rewire themselves for optimum growth and development) these doctors have discovered that unlike machines or computers our brains have enormous capacity for adaptation.

Adapting programs that help every person

This is a program Integrated into our practice that encompasses the treatment of Learning Disorders, ADD and ADHD, Aspergers, and Behavior problems. We provide ABA therapies for Autism and Pervasive Development Disorders.

In addition, we have programs for patients that have suffered brain injuries and teens and people in their twenties with social disorders. We provide a social interaction skill set classes for isolated and home school or home bound children and teens.
